April 2, 2016: Movement of Light

Light sheds past
our tethered dreams,
our desires whisked away
with the dust.

Light still exists
inside pitch black.
Hope burns where shadows
lay in freight.

Only pure darkness
shall rise from dust
in ashes which spark
a movement.
