Life moves on...

I feel like I am in the wrong generation.
I miss having friends to call on a rainy day.
My piggy bank looks sad.

My baby's smiles pull me through
the rut I keep digging myself into.

Life moves;
You stand untouched.

I hear my thoughts impload
as if a bomb went off
inside my head.

It ticks quietly
while I feed my son
his evening baby food.

Life moves on.
I remain still.
