Christmas Candy making at the In-Laws'

For the second day of blogmas, we went over to my in-law's for the day, helping to make Christmas goodies.

To begin our day, I first took our 3 month old son to my monthly Fine Lines's meeting where I help edit poetry as well as create and submit posts to the journal's social media pages. We arrived there by 9:30ish. I brought my little bundle of joy in and the room filled with excitement. As we were nearing the end of the editing process, I asked if there were any takers on holding my baby. Two women raised their hands and they passed him back and forth while I took some pictures for the instagram account.

He was absolutely adorable and nothing but smiles most of the time. Once back in my car, we fled home to pick up my husband and our puppy. I wound up waiting for 15+ min.

Finally, at 11:30ish, we made it to my in-laws'. From there, I spent the next 10 hours on/off between helping with the goodies and taking care of my son.

Fun times at my son's grandparents' house!

The entire day was lovely. I am so excited that I got to be apart of it.
